AISLE RUNNER DISCLAIMER:
The aisle runners featured on our website are HAND PAINTED! They are NOT massed produced and
they are NOT machine made. Lorilis is a family business run by myself, Lori Baker, and my sister Lisa
Penley. Lisa has been a graphic designer for 20 years and you can be assured that your runner is
professionally designed and skillfully painted.
The aisle runners cannot be purchased through a shopping cart because they are personalized to each
bride's specifications. Orders are processed according to your wedding date and NOT when you place
your order. We try to accommodate each and every wedding date possible. During the peak bridal
months of May through October expect a delay in production of your runner. We have never missed a
wedding!
Here is a guideline of how the process of ordering a runner works.
1. You must email us at lorilis_hickory@hotmail.com with the information needed to produce a "proof".
We will need to know your names or initials and wedding date. If you would like to include any design
elements and colors please let us know. If you want a quote we will need the wording. We will need to
know the length and color of the runner (white or ivory). We will need to know where you want the
design placed and which direction you want the information to face. Do you want to see your names and
or quote facing you as you walk toward the altar or after you are married facing you as you walk out?
2. Once you have emailed us with your inquiry, we will respond with an accurate price and an
approximate delivery schedule. When you approve the pricing information will be begin the "design
process". We usually try to get designs for you within just a couple of days. You can then change
anything about the proof you want. Try a different lettering style, color, or add a decorative element
the choice is yours. If you desire a custom color, a swatch must be provided.
3. When you make a final decision on your design, we place your runner into the PRODUCTION
SCHEDULE. CHANGES can only be made up to the point that we start painting. Once the painting
process has started, NO CHANGES MAY BE MADE.
4. We do not ask for payment until we are ready to start painting your runner. Before we start painting
we will go over the details again, just to make sure that everything is just the way you would like it to
be. Payment can be made using Paypal, Credit/Debit by phone, money orders or checks. And don't
forget that offer payment plans.
5. Once we begin painting the runners it could take 3 to 6 days or more depending on the design
chosen. Quotes, written names and intricate designs take longer than monograms. We will email you
when we are ready to start and when we finish. You can email us to check on the progress.
Most importantly we need your patience. Our hand painted runners take time to produce. It can take
several days to paint your runner. We try out best to accommodate each and every request. We
schedule runners with the most pressing wedding dates first and only accept orders that we feel we can
successfully deliver in a timely manner. Please keep all this in mind when placing an order.
We greatly appreciate all the brides that we have worked with. None of this would be possible without
them. We wish that we could accommodate everyone, but we are just TWO! God has blessed us with a
great talent and we love putting ourself into each runner. We enjoy each bride that we come in contact
with either by phone or email. This is our passion, our joy...
